๐ŸŒ™ What Do You Do After Work?

K-Office Life #GodSaeng #YogaAndArt

Everyone thinks Koreans are workaholics, right? Well, it's true. We work 9-to-6 (and often later), but the real "second life" begins after the sun goes down.

While some enjoy the famous "Hoesik" (ํšŒ์‹ - company dinners), I personally find them a bit draining. To me, social drinking with colleagues feels like an extension of work. I prefer keeping a healthy boundary between my professional and private life.

๐Ÿง˜‍♀️ Why I Chose Yoga over the "Running Craze"

Right now, Korea is obsessed with running! Every marathon is fully booked within minutes. But as someone with a sun allergy, outdoor sports aren't for me.

Instead, I fell in love with Yoga (์š”๊ฐ€). Last summer, I went to Bali for a yoga retreat and tried various one-day classes. It was a life-changing experience! While Pilates is more common in Korea these days, I find Yoga much more beneficial for my emotional and mental well-being. I plan to do it for the rest of my life.

๐ŸŽจ 5 Years of Focus: Portrait Drawing

And here’s my little secret: I’ve been practicing Portrait Drawing (์ธ๋ฌผํ™”) for 5 years.

I usually get distracted easily, but drawing is the only thing that keeps me focused for over 3 hours. I love capturing the delicate features of actors like Timothรฉe Chalamet and Cillian Murphy. These are my favorite pieces I’ve worked on during my meditation-like drawing sessions.

Cillian Murphy Fan Art (Pencil) "For Cillian, I used a pencil to focus on the sharp, precise lines of his piercing gaze. The detail of the graphite really suits his intensity."

๐Ÿ’ช My Big Challenge: The First Pull-up

During my lunch break, I visit the company gym to practice Pull-ups (ํ„ฑ๊ฑธ์ด).

To be honest, I can't even do a single one yet! My goal for this year is to succeed in doing just one proper pull-up. Currently, I’m practicing with resistance bands every day. Do you think I can make it by the end of the year? Wish me luck!
